Arpoador is a rustic village surrounded by beaches, dunes and mangroves, with limited local infrastructure. There are no supermarkets, pharmacies or gas stations in the village, so guests are advised to purchase supplies in Tutóia before arrival.
The local electrical system is 220V and may experience occasional fluctuations or power outages during busier periods.
As the property is surrounded by nature, the occasional presence of sand, insects or small animals typical of the local environment is natural, even after cleaning.
Parking is available on the street. The accommodation does not have a private garage or enclosed parking area.

Oceanfront Chalet is located directly in front of the sea, with access to the beach, and is approximately 5 minutes from the region’s main kitespot. The entrance to Arpoador Village is about 1 km away, while Tutóia is approximately 9 km from the property.

The Pequenos Lençóis Maranhenses are indicated as approximately 10 minutes from the accommodation.

In Arpoador, simplicity, a slower pace and close contact with nature are all part of the experience.

Access to Arpoador is exclusively via the beach, along an approximately 12 km route from Tutóia. The journey is part of the experience, passing through dunes, palm trees, beaches and natural landscapes.

4x2 vehicles can make the route, provided arrival and departure take place during low tide. Guests should therefore check the tide schedule and plan travel times accordingly.

Inside the village, some areas have deeper sand, and certain local trips may require a 4x4 vehicle or local transfer service.

GPS apps may not correctly indicate the route to Arpoador. We recommend following the arrival instructions provided in advance by Arpoador Experience.
